Meet Bella: The Sweet and Springy Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix!

If you're looking for a loving companion with a playful spirit, Bella might just be the perfect fit for you! This adorable 4-year-old, 14-pound bundle of joy is as energetic as she is affectionate.

Bella loves her outdoor adventures and can often be found zooming from one end of the fence line to the other, full of energy and excitement. When it's time to come inside, however, she's ready to wind down and will happily curl up in your lap to relax. In the mornings, after a good night's sleep, Bella might get a little springy, bouncing up and down the stairs with pure enthusiasm! But once she's had her morning stretch, she's ready to settle in next to her favorite person for some quality cuddle time.

While she's friendly and affectionate, Bella can be a bit sensitive. If she thinks she's in trouble or hears a raised voice, she'll cower-she just wants to please! She's smart and listens well, making her a breeze to train. Bella is also fully potty trained, kennel trained (she's happy to sleep in her kennel as long as she's close to her humans), and leashed trained, ready to go for walks with you!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
