My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty boy is Moose, a 1-2 year old pit/shepherd mix who was found as a stray by a good samaritan. He was brought to us so we could help find him his forever home! Here's what his foster has to say: "Moose is a sweet, outgoing guy who is active and playful! He gets along with other dogs, walks great on a leash, and is fully house/crate trained. He is great with kids but very energetic, so he may be too much for smaller kids. He gives little kisses and loves to nibble noses and ears (not hard just nibble). He has a tendency to jump but I am working on this and he is learning to listen to the command "no jump". He super smart and is very food motivated. He is learning "leave it" and "wait" and has learned to sit for his food. He is getting a lot better with walks and only has to be corrected a little before he walks continuously on my right. He cannot be with cats or small animals and will chase squirrels. Moose is dog friendly but a bit unsocialized, so is a little overly excited with his greetings. All he wants is to play. I do walk him several miles a day but do not seem to tire him, so he needs an active family or a large yard to run. Loves to play fetch and tug. He is a little nervous with baths but if you go slow he does ok. He loves to cuddle and give hugs, and loves to just lay with someone in their lap. He's just a big baby!" We promised Moose that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.
