My name is Ranger!

Ranger has been in a kennel for over 265 days. He was returned to the humane society in Jasper County where he is now because the senior chihuahua couldn’t tolerate his young playfulness. He’s a really good boy and deserves a chance to be in a loving home and be able to run and play with other dogs. He’s 3 years old and very smart and sweet. I can share videos of him playing. Since he’s been in captivity for so long he shows selective behavior towards female dogs or very passive non dominant male dogs. He will need help resocializing. He needs a patient person to help him with this. He’s good with older kids. We are at the point that we feel it’s more humane to euthanize him than make him be in a kennel longer but we have a lot of people cheering for him to find a home.
