Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Joey is a sleek and handsome black cat with a little white patch on his chest. He is 1 year old and was recently transferred to HART from another shelter. Joey is a very laid-back and very affectionate cat who has a lot of love to give! Despite being blind, he is outgoing and very curious, and loves to explore. He loves being held close and will give you lots of kisses and snuggles.
In addition to his impaired vision, Joey has several other significant health concerns, including a history of seizures and chronic diarrhea. He is currently on a prescription medication and a limited-ingredient duck diet to help with his GI symptoms. We will require that his adopter has an established relationship with a veterinarian, and the ability to both regularly monitor his health, administer medication, and provide a calm home environment that can safely accommodate a blind cat. Our Adoption Team will review his specific needs with you prior to adoption.
Joey is an absolute sweetheart and is ready to bring the fun and snuggles to his new family. Please submit an adoption application and come in to meet this very special kitty in Room 1.
