A note from Zinny's foster mama:
Whoever adopts Zinny will be very very lucky as she’s a dream pup.
She was separated from her four puppies two weeks ago, so she came to us a bit nervous. But her affectionate and quirky personality is coming out more and more each day.
Zinny loves attention and she’ll happily follow you around all day. Ideally, she’ll be adopted by someone who works from home, so she can get as much quality time as possible. But if you’re not at home, she loves to perch by a window and watch outside for hours at a time.
She’s lower-energy but gets very excited for walks. She’s great on a leash and will trot alongside you. I’ve taken her on two-mile walks with no issues. On a longer hike, after three miles, we carried her in our backpack, and she loved it!
Zinny is a little unsure when meeting new people and dogs - never aggressive, just a bit nervous. She settles down quickly after a few pets from the person or some sniffs with the new dog. I think this will improve very quickly, as she’s just adjusting to this new life. After getting to know dogs/people, she loves to be around them. She’s constantly cuddling up to us and my black lab and Rottweiler.
All in all, she is perfect and amazing and hilarious and I’m most likely going to cry when she gets adopted. But she deserves a loving home that can give her 100% love and attention.
