My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey was abandoned and very nervous at the distant shelter with her six newborn puppies on 8/24/24. She was shaking and of course protective of her puppies at a very noisy shelter with barking dogs and strangers. With time she warmed up with staff and enjoyed lap time with staff when away from her pups but still nervous. She wanted to go back to her pups right away. She is a great mom. Once our foster home took them home on 9/3/24 Honey warmed up fast and is now very sweet and friendly. She and her pups have a quiet room to keep isolated away from foster home's dogs and cats. Pups will not be ready until after vet care at 8 weeks old. So about Oct. 15th. More photos and info. to come. 9/26/24 Update: Her puppies are now about 7 weeks old and all super adorable. All healthy eating and playful. Soon Honey will need her own foster home for TLC. She was good meeting foster home's dog when away from her puppies. She is very people affectionate and loves lap time. Happy and calm at home. 10/11/24 Update: Without her pups at her current foster home she now plays with their dog. Ignores their 2 cats. Lovable with people and enjoys attention. Loves treats agile and learning commands for a treat. Knows sit now. Honey is now in her next foster home after vet exam and treatments 11/2/24 She is already comfortable at her new foster home. Honey is a sweetie and did great at her previous home with many other dogs and 2 cats (ignored them). She had her vet exam and got ear infection meds packed for 2 weeks Cytopoint injection for itch Clavamox and Malaseb medical shampoo to bath her. 11/7/24 update from her 2nd Foster Home: Honey had a bit of a rough patch after she was abandoned at a rural shelter with her 6 newborn pups (don’t get me started on whoever dumped her there 🤬). Thanks to her first foster home transporter and vets she made it to us! Now that her 'Honey Litter' pups are ready to find their own forever loving homes it’s time for Honey to relax learn be spoiled get some love and attention all to herself. She unfortunately has some ear and skin infections which are making her uncomfortable but with a course of ear packs medicated baths antibiotics healthy food and lots of TLC she’ll be right as rain in no time ❤ï¸Â. Please help us find Honey her perfect forever family! . 🐾🐾December 4, 2024, 12:33 am
