Baby Ruth
Female
35lbs
~ 1 year old
Medium Energy
Dog-friendly
Loving, silly, affectionate
Baby Ruth is sweet as candy! This friendly little pocket pittie was found as a local stray, but easily adjusted to the home life. She is incredibly loving and joyful, and adores being around people. She spends her days playing tug, napping in goofy pretzel-like positions, and giving big kisses to her foster parents. Not to mention, indulging in her own sweet tooth (i.e. chowing down on peanut butter-filled Kongs).
Baby Ruth is house-trained and potty-trained(no accidents or mischievous antics for this girl), and sleeps peacefully in her crate after a little bit of fussing.
Like many white dogs, Baby Ruth is deaf, but her foster parents can attest she’s a quick learner. She does well on a leash and already understands hand commands for “Yes”, “Touch”, and “Sit”.
Baby Ruth loves other dogs but is the equivalent of a middle school girl — like all of us as pre-teens, she can be socially awkward with her peers. She’d do well with a confident dog to help direct during playtime or an adoptive family to help perfect her doggy manners. Baby Ruth has got nap time covered, though! She currently lives with another dog, and they love splitting the couch for cuddles and a snooze.
If you’re still craving confections after your holiday feasts, consider a Baby Ruth. This pup would make a wonderful, affectionate companion to any family.
If you are interested in Baby Ruth, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
