We adopted Duke from the Humane Society about four years ago. He instantly connected with our kids and has been a great dog for our family. Unfortunately, a tragic family accident in our extended family has meant we have had to be away from home with more frequency and have not been able to care for Duke as much as he deserves. It’s an incredibly difficult thing for us to consider rehoming him, but we think it is in Dukes best interest.
He is great with kids and other dogs. Enough energy to play with and run around but not overly active. He’s a hound, so he’s got a loud bark. He’s an incredible dog.
