Meet Amelia! 💕

Looking for a big personality in a pint-sized package? Amelia is your girl! This short-legged, sassy little pittie pup is as strong-willed as she is adorable. 😇 She’s confident, curious, and always ready to take on the world—whether it’s chasing after her favorite toy or playfully bossing around her foster siblings.

Amelia would thrive in a home with a patient doggy sibling who can teach her the ropes and help her learn all about doggy manners. She’s already a total sweetheart during nap time and loves nothing more than snuggling up for a cuddle after she’s worn herself out. 🥰

Her adopters will need to help her with crate training, potty training, and the basics of puppy etiquette, but with consistency and love, Amelia is sure to blossom into an amazing companion. 🌸

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
