Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Comet is a fun, loving, sweet, extremely friendly and playful, six-year-old, 70-pound, male black and white Husky/Boxer-mix with striking blue eyes looking for a loving guardian.
He is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone he meets. He is perfectly housebroken, and well-behaved in the home. He’s happy to go for walks and runs and snuggle on the couch, in your bed, or in his dog bed.
He is fantastic in the car and loves to hop in and go for a ride. He’s fine sitting quietly in the back seat and great during a dog bath. He does have the voice of a husky with the howl/whine at times. He is well-trained and knows all his commands.
Comet is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Prior to his rescue, he was attacked by another dog who bit off a chunk of his left ear. He is wonderful with other dogs, however we’ve never seen him with a cat.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly fostering or adopting Comet, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
His adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He comes with everything you need to care for him: food, bowls, leash, collar, toys, etc.
