More about this rescue

Run 2 The Rescue is a nonprofit rescue response team Founded by Brandy Cherven and Liz Bleise. Their unique journey began in 2018 when Liz adopted her first dog from China through Brandy. From that moment, it was clear they shared a deep passion for animal welfare. They worked together on a large-scale international dog rescue for several years and witnessed firsthand the overwhelming challenges faced by small rescues in China and South Korea. These dedicated activists tirelessly save dogs and cats from unimaginable cruelty, but many of these animals remain forgotten, still waiting for a second chance.

In response to this urgent need, Brandy and Liz founded Run 2 The Rescue. Our mission is straightforward: we aim to be a beacon of hope for these brave activists and their voiceless victims of the dog and cat meat trade. We focus on fundraising and outreach to support rescue missions, medical care, and flight costs for these deserving animals. Our ultimate goal is to place them in safe, loving forever homes while continuing to educate and advocate for an end to this cruelty.

With your help, we can make a difference. Please consider joining our life-changing mission through sponsoring, adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

As River Phoenix wisely said, “Run to the rescue with love, and peace will follow.”

RUN. RESCUE. REPEAT!
