My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Radley, a cat with a heart as big as her personality. She`s a shy, sweet, and mellow lady who prefers quiet afternoons and gentle pets. Radley`s not one for boisterous play, but she`ll happily keep you company while you read a book or watch TV. She`s a calm presence, perfect for someone seeking a serene companion. Radley`s quiet demeanor might make her seem aloof at first, but once she warms up to you, you`ll find a loyal friend in her. She`s a gentle soul, looking for a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved. Adopt Radley and gain a companion who will enrich your life with her quiet, sweet nature.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
