Dodger is a 1 1/2 yo bicolor boy, he’s about 27lbs. He’s currently living with his owner in Lake Elsinore, CA. Due to personal unfortunate circumstances her owner recently had to move with him to an apartment complex and he’s not doing well there. He has separation anxiety and every time his owner leaves he barks and the neighbors are complaining about it. He doesn’t like to be left alone, he needs an owner who is home often or would also do well in a home with a yard and another dog, he loves dogs and he’s also good with cats and kids. He’s house trained but hates crates, due to his anxiety. He’s very playful and a cuddler!

We set up an appointment to meet our available dogs that are ready to be adopted, with potential adopters after their application has been approved. If the dog is a good fit at the meeting appointment, the dog can go home the same day.
We also offer transportation options when the potential adopter is far away and can’t come to meet / pick up a dog from us. Feel free to reach out if interested in adopting but would need transportation.

We’re a Beagle rescue in San Diego, CA. Although we mainly rescue Beagles, we also receive other hounds in need such as Basset Hounds and Beagle/Basset Hound mixes. We’ve been Beagle owners for the last 8 years and we decided to start rescuing about 4 years ago simply because we love the breed, we love helping hounds finding loving forever homes. So far we’ve placed about 150+ hounds successfully in adoption.
