We know why Honey got her name, she's as sweet as honey!!! She came to her fosters a scared but loving girl and slowly grew out of her fears (except she still is very afraid of the leash, they believe she just doesn't want to go into the big scary world). After a few weeks she turned into a playful, zoomie-filled, snuggle bug.
She's a homebody but loves being in the backyard, running around the grass and watching chickens. Her foster taught her to sit like a good girl. She was their constant shadow, always wanting to know where they were going and if she could come along. She will be your best friend. Forever. She loves having her nails groomed which is always an unknown with a rescue. She loves her kong, blue stuffed bear, and likes chasing balls but doesn't get quite how to fetch yet. Oh, and she loves laundry!
When her fosters would leave her she loved gathering socks, t-shirts and pants to lay with (never destructive). Shes not very vocal, only excitement barks when her fosters come home, no yipping or barking at people or other animals. She had a male dog visitor and they got along just fine. She's a funny, spunky girl that will love you and your family so much. We vote for Honey. Honey 2024!
