My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Madison. Madison is housebroken and loving towards people. She does have a high prey drive but is good with cats. he would do best at the only dog ion the household.

Madison is about two and a half years old.

Madison's adoption fee is $300. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting Madison, please stop by the shelter during open hours or complete an adoption application on our website. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet Madison.

More about this shelter

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
