My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BIO: I am Poppi. I am a little shy when I first meet you but I warm up as soon as I know I can trust you. I love to be petted and have my beautiful fur brushed and I especially like being scratched around the ears. They say my purring can be heard clear across the room. I can be picked up but don't want to be held for too long. I know I'll find a wonderful family who will love me forever!

RESCUE: I as discovered sheltering in a drainage ditch near where some colony cats were being fed. I'm not sure how I came to be there. One moment I was playing somewhere and the next, I was whisked away. I was thankful that ARC found me as I was getting very scared and hungry.

FAVORITE ITEMS: Feather/leather tassel string toys, laser pointer, spiral toys
ADDITIONAL INFO: Ear Tipped, shy; Not fond of being held; Older kids
FOOD: Purina One Kitten and wet food as a treat.
GOOD WITH: People, older kids, cats

More about this rescue

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
