My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Audrey is an energetic and affectionate 1-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful tricolor merle coat. Weighing in at 21 lbs, she’s the perfect size for families or individuals looking for a companion who can keep up with their active lifestyle. Known for her friendly and outgoing personality, Audrey has a heart full of love for everyone she meets— humans or other dogs. She’s a confident and adaptable dog, eager to join in any activity, whether it’s a spirited play session in the yard or a cuddle on the couch. Audrey has also shown that she thrives on human attention, even enjoying being held like a baby, where she’ll quickly drift off to sleep in your arms.

Miss Audrey is house and crate trained, making her a well-mannered member of the home. She requires regular exercise to keep her happy and healthy, such as running, playing with other dogs, or engaging in fetch and other interactive games. While a fenced yard would be ideal for her to burn off energy, Audrey is adaptable and can thrive in various living situations. She loves playing in the yard, but she also enjoys playing indoors with toys or other dogs, making her a versatile companion.

Although Audrey hasn’t been exposed to very young children yet, her foster mom believes she would be great with them based on her love for everyone. She’s playful, loyal, and always up for an adventure or a snuggle sesh. With her positive attitude and adaptable nature, Audrey is sure to bring joy to any home looking for a sweet, energetic, and loving dog!

Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
