Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet our newest adoptable cat (and only boy!), Oreo! He was recently rescued from one of AAC’s rougher satellite feeding sites, where he was abandoned as a kitten, along with Trixie and Hazel, who we think are his sisters (both also up for adoption). AAC’s new adoption program is working hard to find homes for some of the wonderful house cats abandoned on the island and surrounding areas.
Oreo was one of the first to say hello when we arrived, telling us about his day and wanting love a whole lot more than food. He did great at the vet and is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready to begin his new life. He is estimated at about 2 years old.
Oreo is doing great acclimating to indoor life, as we figured he would. He finds comfort being with his little sister, Hazel, and we often find them hanging out together in their Petsmart cubbies. We are still getting to know him, but now that he is understanding his life is no longer in danger, he is relaxing more and we’ve even seen him lounging on his back. Someone is going to very lucky to add him as a new family member. He can be adopted as your “one and only", with one of his sisters, Hazel or Trixie; or should do well in an existing cat household with a mindful acclimation (which we can help you with).
Like so many, Oreo just needs a chance; and a new family who will gift him a little patience to find his way.
You can meet Oreo in person! He is currently bunking with our dear PetsMart adoption partner friends at 430 William Hilton Pkwy #107 during their retail hours!
INDOOR HOMES ONLY (he has had enough of the streets). For the safety of our cats, home visits required (which can be done at the time of adoption). Adoption fee $50. Our required application can be found here:
