My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crystal is a dazzling white kitten with a playful personality and a heart full of love. Her silky-soft coat and twinkling eyes give her a name that suits her perfectly-she's a little gem!

This energetic girl adores running, leaping, and batting around her favorite toys. She's endlessly curious and loves to explore every nook and cranny. Once she's tired out from her kitten escapades, Crystal will settle in for some cuddles and purring.

Crystal would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of playtime and affection. She's great with other cats and could make fast friends with a cat-friendly dog or respectful children.

If you're looking for a sweet, playful kitten to add sparkle to your life, Crystal is the one! Come meet her today and let her brighten your world.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
