My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information.

Lucky is on the at-risk list for medical concerns. He is a senior dog with unregulated diabetes mellitus. He needs a quiet home with out-patient management of his condition by a local veterinarian.

Lucky was surrendered to ACC due to his owner being unable to afford his on-going medical needs. His previous owner describes him as an independent couch potato - who loves spending time cuddling up and being near his people. He reportedly walks well on leash - and absolutely loves chicken flavored treats. Lucky is looking for a quiet home where he can get the medical attention he needs for his diabetes, and all the cuddles his heart desires.
