Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Flo-Retriever/Pointer X female, ~ 3-4yr. (July 2024)(Photos taken July 2024)
Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.
Flo came to Rescue with her 5 tiny puppies, from a high kill big city shelter. She and her babies on the list to lose their lives to euthanasia that very day. This was happening only because the shelter was way overwhelmed with dogs needing homes. Flo went into a rescue foster home and has proved to be an excellent dog. She been a good mother, raised her babies and has settled in to family life. She's about 50-55#, full of intelligence and life. She plays well with the other foster dogs, is very social. She's an active young adult and will enjoy a life that is active. Best of all, she loves people and wants to interact with humans. She would be an excellent hiking or walking partner. Flo can be a little too interested in cats, so she's looking for homes that does not have cats. Flo's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption . For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Additional adoption info
The first step in the adoption process is to request an application from rescuebc@hotmail.com. Please allow 1-2 days to receive the application. Please be patient as we are 100% volunteer supported. We will need several days to make the calls on your application. The current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and annual exams, and currently on heartworm preventative for dogs. You must be 21 years of age and gainfully employed.
Once you are approved, a volunteer will contact you and invite you to a Meet and Greet to visit with a pet. All our pets are fostered in private homes and only come to the event when they have a potential adopter.
Plan to spend 1-2 hours at the Meet and Greet. It takes time to unload our pets and give them an opportunity to relieve themselves. You will have time to visit with a pet to decide if this is the right pet for your family. You will be required to sign a legal contract and we will go over the medical records with you. You will be required to take your new pet to the vet within 7 days of adopting.
We charge an adoption fee for all of our animals. This fee varies depending on the vetting requirements of that particular animal. The adoption fee is cash only.
If you have any questions, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com.
