My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a big Shepherd boy to call your own? Meet Max! This handsome guy has unfortunately not had the most ideal upbringing, and is pretty undersocialized. Because of this, Max can be a little nervous of strangers, and being in the chaotic shelter is already taking its toll on this handsome guy. Once he is comfortable with you and opens up, Max is a goofy and playful pup with energy for days. Max is looking for a family to take it slow with him and help him catch up on the socialization and positive reinforcement based training he's missed out on so far. Max does well with other dogs, but as is common for young Shepherds he can come on strong and has a rough play style. If you have other animals in your home we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Max home. If you are interested in meeting with Max, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
