My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well Frankie is obviously gorgeous…I mean REALLY, those eyes! Full grown at around 5lbs, she is a tiny little nugget of a very soft and floppy kitty. When she trusts you she’s like jello in your arms. She is definitely driven by affection and lots of lovin’!
Frankie is a special case. She was trapped as a feral, but it became clear once in the trap that she definitely wasn’t feral. She was just living on her own and very scared.
Frankie definitely would LOVE a kitty friend to play with. She is quickly overcoming her fears and loves sprinting around the house with a kitty friend.

Frankie is not the kitty that runs and greets strangers at the door, yet. But she has made huge strides and if her foster home didn’t have that one “@$! cat that loves to terrorize new kitties…she wouldn’t be leaving her foster home. She has a very strong bond with her foster mom and will need someone new to obsess over her and she will do the same in return! More pictures available on request.

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
