My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy folks, I am a cute little Yorkie mix named Rosie. I am about 10 months old, almost 6 lbs and I was standing in the middle of a street when I was almost hit by a car. Bless my lucky stars when the lady pulled over and rescued me and it turns out she was on her way to work at a San Antonio veterinary clinic. Unbelievably, I had no identification or microchip so they reached out to 4 Little Paws and I went to a foster home so I could be safe and have fun while getting ready to find a forever home. I am a sweet tiny girl, happy and friendly with average energy, I love people and other dogs. I’m well-behaved, housetrained, rarely bark, and I get “free-to-roam” status in my foster home because I’m a good girl. I also get to sleep beside my foster mom each night and that’s a perk I would like to keep when I move to my new home. I love attention and affection, snuggles and kisses, but I’m not pushy about it. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
