MEET SUNSHINE! Check Out His Video!

Sunshine lived a quiet life with one person. This stunning and sensitive guy has had a difficult time adjusting to the noises of the shelter but he has begun to show us his sweet side. Sunshine loves to rub on people and get some gentle attention from his visitors. Sunshine will need to go on a vet-supervised weight-loss journey so he can hopefully avoid some of the issues that can arise with extra pounds. This gentle giant would probably do best in a quieter home (perhaps with respectul, older children).

Sunshine is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is committed to matching adoptable animals with a permanent home. Our conversation-based, application-free adoption process is designed so that the needs of both the animal and the adopter are understood and compatible with one another. We require the following as part of the adoption process:
* Adopter must be 18 years of age or older
* A current government-issued ID (no student IDs)
* Have a conversation with an ARL adoption counselor
* A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird
