My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KIKI is a 3 year old Female Chihuahua in need of a “Forever Home”. This is a Fantastic Dog!!! She was surrendered to our group after her previous owner was placed in a nursing home, we promised to find her a wonderful new family. KIKI was her loyal companion and could be yours too. She gets along well with other dogs, is cat safe and kid friendly. She is current on vaccines, including rabies, has been microchipped, dewormed and Spayed. She will make a wonderful addition to a loving home.

More about this rescue

Shay's Strays Animal Rescue provides a temporary, safe home for abandoned, discarded dogs/puppies. Our animals come to us in a variety of ways, the majority of those that we rescue are from high kill shelters, families who can no longer care for them and/or strays roaming the streets. While our goal is to help these animals find safe permanent homes as quickly as possible, we know that some will have a long road ahead, and they are welcome to stay with us for as long as it takes. Often, we provide much needed medical attention, socialization, and training so that the animals in our care have the best chance at a new life.
