Ember is a beautiful laid-back girl. She’s banned for her beautiful coloring, not her personality. At only a year old, she was a young mama but did an amazing job raising her kittens. Now she’s looking for her own family to pamper her. Ember is a friendly girl who loves people. She doesn’t mind being picked up or held and enjoys sitting next to humans, especially if there’s food involved. She doesn’t have an ounce of aggression. She gets along well with other cats and has grown accustomed to the dogs in the home as well and now hangs out with them, though at first she was a little scared of them.
Ember is such an easy and perfect cat, she would do well in any environment. She is litter box trained, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She weighs 10lbs and is a tabico (tabby/calico).

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
