This dreamy ittie bittie pittie boy is named Charlie. Charlie is heartbreakingly adorable in every way, he’s very engaged with humans and he has such an outgoing and affectionate personality. He’s a perfect little forever puppy, ready to be your next best friend!
Charlie is petite and sweet, estimated to be around 1 year and 6 months old, he weighs in around 45 pounds with short little legs. We think he may be a Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier mix, but he is a rescue so these are just our best guesses.
Charlie is a total lovebug, adored here at the rescue for his affection. He seeks connection with people and loves any and all touch. He doesn’t mind being picked up, handled and pet all over. He adores belly rubs and will absolutely puppy-dog eye you for attention.
Here at the rescue, Charlie has shown great canine social skills! He would love to live in a home with another playful dog to keep him company. He definitely prefers the company of people to dogs, and will check in with his humans during play sessions! He could thrive as a solo-dog as well.
Charlie does well on leash, and checks in with his handler often. He knows how to sit on command and has good house manners! He doesn’t mark indoors here at the rescue, and he’s very respectful of the furniture.
Charlie has been cat-tested and our behavior team remarked that “he may actually… like cats.” See his cat test in his video- it’s precious! We believe Charlie is cat-tolerant and could do well in a home with dog savvy kitties.
Charlie meets strangers with warmth and ease. He will adore you, it will be love at first sight when you finally meet! This sweet boy will love your friends and family, if you’re a social person, Charlie would love to be at your side.
Charlies’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to love on. Daily walks and outdoor playtime will keep Charlie happy and healthy, we think he could do well in an apartment with a dog park, or a home with a yard. He could live with dogs, dog-savvy cats, and likely kids! We haven’t seen him with kids yet, but we can absolutely kid-test Charlie if you have little ones in your life. With any questions, please reach out to his adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Charlie with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
