Meet Bernice, a sweet and loving pup with a heart full of joy! Bernice is a friendly, social girl who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would make a great addition to any family. She's completely potty trained, so you don't have to worry about accidents.
Bernice loves the simple pleasures in life-like a tasty piece of chicken, a good head scratch, or cuddling up with her favorite stuffie. She's also known to show her affection by putting her two paws up on your lap, giving sweet kisses, and soaking up all the love she can. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Current programming such as our Adoption Program, Military Veterans’ Program, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy Program create positive, impactful connections between people and animals, improving the lives of both. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
