My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I am Theodora and am searching for my forever family. Let me tell you about myself! I am a 24 lbs. Terrier mix, I may be small in size but I make up for that with my bubbly 'happy-go-lucky' personality. I am working on my potty training & am very successful on a schedule & I have begun alerting my foster family when I need to go outside. Speaking of outside, I enjoy playing in the yard with the 2 resident dogs, getting zoomies out, and finding scent trails. I also walk well on a leash, although I do bark when I encounter other walkers & situations I am uncomfortable with. I travel great in a vehicle and will sit in the back seat curious about where we are going. I kennel during the day, giving a little sass for a few minutes, and then will self quiet & be content. I kennel at night in the family bedroom until successful at potty training. I have had limited exposure to kids and am unsure of them at this time. My foster folks think I would do well in any size home. Lastly, I want to mention I enjoy chewing on bones and chasing toys!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please go to www.ndlbrescue.org and submit an application for adoption. Please check out our website for any questions you may have before emailing us.
Adoption Application and Contract are required. If adopted dog is under 4 months old, a spay/neuter contract is required along with a spay/neuter deposit. Before the dog will be placed in the potential adopter's home, a home visit will be required. Adoption fees range from $125.00-$650.00 but are listed with every dog.
