My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Put Short Bio here: Zeke is an energetic puppy with so much love for humans and other animals. extremely curious about everyone and approaches every new person or pet. He does not do any barking or whining and sleeps well in the crate. He is currently working on potty training and like any puppy he is getting better everyday. Zeke is a little timid about life in the big city after moving from Georgia. He is getting more comfortable with crossing the street every new experience. He has been so brave! We have several kids in our apartment building and he is always so sweet with them. I think he would make an amazing addition to a family with kids. Zeke loves to chew on his rope toys and is learning to play fetch. He has lots of puppy energy but at night will cuddle right up on your lap and wants to be involved. He is a tiny dog with a big heart and would make the perfect NYC apartment dog!

Fill out all below:
Personality & Characteristics: Energetic, curious, playful, timid outside, quiet, and cuddly
My foster dog is good with: Dogs, Kids, Adults, Elevators
My foster dog is: Crate trained, Low shed
3 Keywords for your pup: Cute, Tiny, Energetic
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 8
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet pup
Walking Manners: once he is walking he does great and is not pulling. but he is timid and will sometimes sit down in the middle of the sidewalk. if we give him time to decompress and assess his surroundings he warms up to the walk. Sometimes we do have to pick him up though when he is really scared of loud noises. We give him lots of positive affirmations when he is walking well and is getting better every day as he gets used to his new environment and routine.
Appetite: hungry! eats all his food and treats. motivated by food for training.
Does the following: a little nervous outside, does not get car sick(loved looking out the window), does not have separation anxiety(doesn't whine in the crate), ok with the bath, and dried off so quickly.
Favorite Things: biting his rope toy, eating, cuddling, covering himself in blankets or borrowing, following me around, giving kisses, sitting on your lap
Commands/Tricks: getting really good with name recognition, we are working on sitting, and he is getting really good at "come"

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
