I is an affectionate, playful, and adventurous pup that is just over a year old and weighs about 35 lbs.
I do well with people and other pups but would do better in a home with older kiddos. I can a little too active for the wee little ones. And I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet.
I'm an active gal that loves to swim and go on hikes - so if you're an outdoorsy type, I could definitely be the pup for you! I have great recall and come when called.
I is incredibly smart, knows basic commands, like sit, stay, lay down, and shake. I is also food motivated, so it's easy peasy to train me and I will learn all kinds of new tricks in no time. Despite my athletic build, with my exercise in, I is a total cuddle bug and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with my humans.
I's crate and house trained which means we can get right to the fun stuff...right away!!

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
