Meet Milo, the playful and affectionate pup who’s sure to steal your heart! Milo is a toy enthusiast – from squeaky balls to tug ropes, he’s always ready for a game. While he can get a bit excited on leash, it’s just his way of saying “hello” to every dog he meets. He absolutely thrives outside, especially in the warmer weather, but the cold isn’t quite his thing.
Milo is a quick learner, especially when there’s a treat involved! He knows his basic commands and is always eager to learn new tricks. He’s crate trained, house trained, and thrives in a home with a fenced yard where he can play safely. A companion dog would be the cherry on top for Milo, as he loves having a furry friend around to share adventures with.
He’s a social guy who does best in environments where he can meet new dogs gradually, and once he’s comfortable, he’s a total snuggle bug who loves to cuddle up with his people. Milo is truly a special dog who will bring joy, love, and plenty of laughs to any home. It's hard not to fall in love with him – he’s the best boy who truly deserves the world!
Milo is estimated to be 2.5 years old and 21 lbs. This animal is a Courtesy Listing. This animal resides with his current owner and if you are interested in potentially giving this animal a home you must contact them at qhouston03@gmail.com. Placement decisions are strictly between you and the current owner. Safe Hands Rescue does not have legal or physical custody of this animal and is not responsible for him or her.

We only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.

More about this rescue
Safe Hands is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. Of great importance to us is to reduce the stray population and need for healthy animal euthanasia through spay/neuter programs, education, and promotion of respect for the furry creatures that share our lives.
We are a small, no-kill, volunteer run organization. All of our dogs listed are in foster homes waiting to be adopted and because of this, we get to know the dogs' personalities very well and use this information to match them to an appropriate home. We do not have a physical shelter.
This rescue is not funded by public funds nor does it receive many donations so it is dependent on adoption fees to keep operating. We have a great need for foster homes. If you are interested in providing foster care, and live within an hour of the Twin Cities, please e-mail us
Donations ALWAYS needed are: dog crates, puppy pee pads, natures miracle (for pet stain removal), Nutrisource brand puppy and dog food, Lysol disinfecting wipes, paper towels, large clean towels, dog toys, leashes, collars and gas cards to help with our transports.
