Just like the beautiful, strong heroine from the super hero movies, Pepper Potts has beaten the odds and is now in search of her forever home!
Pepper is a young lady at just about 1 year old, and a nice, portable 52 pounds. We think she's a black lab and pointer mix, but with rescue its always just a guess! What we know is that she is sweet, loving, and is ready to join her family!
Pepper currently lives in a fairly busy household with kids 13 and up, and a whole pack of dogs ranging from small grumpy dogs to larger dogs, even a dominant female, and she does excellent with everybody! Pepper is, truly, a dog's dog, and would do best as part of a pack rather than a solo dog. We aren't sure how she will do with cats or little kids, but we are happy to test for you! We recommend no apartments/condos or townhomes.
Pepper is described as fantastic dog who is low-medium energy, and loves receiving affection from people, greeting all who she meets with kisses and tail wags! She is content to just hang out, making her an ideal pup for someone who is retired or works from home. Pepper is potty trained, and is working on crate training but it's not her favorite. Pepper will likely prefer a quieter home where her humans like to be homebodies, just like her, and spend their time at home with their pup rather than being out and about! The occasional stroll through the farmer's market, or just around the neighborhood sounds just perfect to this easy-going, yet somewhat shy, beauty.
Pepper is pretty easy to walk, but will benefit from some more practice to really polish and shine those leash skills! She can be a little nervous during car rides, but she's a polite co-pilot, and will surely get more and more comfortable with a little reassurance from her favorite humans! She is also 100% housetrained! Once in her new home, she will likely need a minute to figure out the new space and routine, but she's got a great foundation!
In summary, Pepper Potts is a sweet, innocent, loving girl who would treasure a quiet, settled home with a pack of established dogs, a yard to play in, and patient, devoted humans to share her life with for the rest of her days. So what are you waiting for?! Hit that apply button!!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
