This helps Town and Country Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Bertram is a single guinea pig who might do well with a pal. He’s quite dependent on his fleece blankie in his enclosure - he tunnels under it and curls up. He's a bit skittish but will take treats from people. His foster says that every morning and evening he runs around and popcorns by himself enjoying his time. Even though catching him is a challenge (as is the case with many piggies) he does love head scratches once he is caught and held.
If you want to meet Bertram, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to samngr@townandcountryanimalrescue.org. Our small animal manager will determine if you and/or your family are a fit and if so, provide instructions for completing the application.
Please NOTE: We have minimum space requirements for enclosures and standards for food for each type of critter, as not all commercially available options are good! The same goes for commercially available foods. After you have submitted an application and have been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt.
Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission.
