My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Honey, a sweet and gentle 7-month-old female mixed breed pup who is looking for a fresh start. Weighing in at about 35 lbs, Honey is a young dog with a heart full of love to give.

Unfortunately, she was sadly surrendered by her previous owner, and though she’s understandably a bit down about the change, she’s still full of potential and ready to become someone's new best friend. Honey will be up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations before she’s adopted, and she’s hoping to find a loving family who will provide her with the patience and care she needs as she adjusts to her new life.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will grow into a wonderful family dog, Honey may be the perfect fit for you. Apply to adopt her today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. Honey has her whole life ahead of her and we can't wait to get her into the home she is destined for.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
