What Makes Me So Special

Boris is an energetic, goofy, snuggly, smart and ball obsessed Boston Terrier. Boris loves every human and dog he meets. He gets along with his foster brothers but doesn’t like to share his toys. He may be best as an only pet or with someone who has experience with Boston Terriers and can provide training. Boris is food/treat motivated and knows basic commands: sit, stay, drop, paw, off (furniture). He will use a dog door or whine to let you know he needs to go out and would do best with a fenced in yard or designated dog area. He sleeps well in his crate or snuggling with his human. Boris may do best as an only or an experienced BT owner who can provide training.
Boris has been Cat tested. Boris went to smell cat. Cat hissed at Boris. He went to smell something else and didn’t give cat a second look.

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
