My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Novie. I'm a 1-year-old cattle dog mix, and I weigh about 35 pounds. I wish I could tell you my story, but there's so much I don't know. All I can say is that I’ve been waiting... waiting for someone to choose me, to love me, to bring me home and make me feel like I belong. Life has been a little uncertain for me, but I’m hopeful.

I’m up to date on all my vaccines and ready to start the next chapter of my life with a family who will care for me and give me the stability and love I’ve been craving. I know that I've lived in Kentucky for my short life this far, but now I’m looking for a home where I can finally feel safe and happy up north. I just want to be part of a family, to have a place where I’m not overlooked or forgotten. If you think you might be the one to offer that, please apply to adopt me at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application I promise I’ll give you all my love and loyalty in return.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
