My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We believed Kiera was an Australian Shepherd mix, however as she's grown, she is getting more features of a Brittany. She is estimated to be born the beginning of September 2024. Kiera is now current on vaccines, her spay is scheduled and she is microchipped.

Kiera has done great with the other dogs and children in her foster home. She is energetic and smart. They have already started working on kennel and potty training and she's doing well. She would love a home ready to shower her with toys and affection.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
