I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sister Wednesday and my brothers Wally and Pugsley.
I’m still adjusting to my new indoor life and although I’ve made lots of progress, There are so many unfamiliar things in my foster home and it’s taking me time to adjust but thankfully my foster mom has been working with me to help me overcome my uneasiness. My more confident “big” brother and new foster furiends have also been helping me and I’m learning lots from them.
My hesitations go right out the window when it’s time to play and eat. I love playing with my foster mom and romping around with my brother Wally and my foster furiends – Cheeto Dust, and Emmy. And when it’s time to eat, I’ll be right there cheering you on while you’re getting my meal ready. As you’ve probably guessed, playtime and mealtime are purrfect times to help create a bond with me… meow.
I do enjoy receiving pets and spending time with humans but I just need some encouragement. I may not hop up next to you on my own yet but if you pick me up and place me near you or lure me up to you, I’ll know it’s okay for me to be there. When I'm relaxed and happy I am a big purr machine. I do still sometimes become startled when a human stands up and approaches me so slow approaches are greatly appreciated while we’re getting to know each other.
I do need a family who will continue to work with me and perfect my social skills. And I do need a more confident furiend in my new home who can help me build up my confidence. My brother Wally has been a rockstar in this department so if you don’t already have a young and confident kitty at home, maybe you could adopt us together!
I’m willing and purrfectly able to embrace my new indoor life with a little more help from you. I purromise your help will pay off big with me!
