My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Cody is one of the sweetest guys around. He's naturally inquisitive and friendly, with a proven track record of being a chill roommate to other dogs, cats, and even birds. Also, his gorgeous face and good nature will cheer you up when your Netflix binges end. Because that's the worst, right? Yes, it is, but you'll have sweet Cody to help you deal.

Here's some notes from his foster:

Cody is super chill and calm. He's great around my anxious little chihuahua. He loves to eat and takes his medications easily. All he wants to do is to sleep next to you. Sometimes he needs some encouragement to settle, but he does it easily. Cody may have some hearing issues and can be easily spooked if you pet from him behind. He is housetrained but may have a couple accidents while he gets adjusted to your schedule.

He doesn't whine or bark often but when he does it's quiet and cute! He's good in a bath but needs to be held up in the bathtub. Cody slips and slides a lot but that doesn't stop him from following you around like a little shadow. Hehe! Also, he tolerates costumes very well :D

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!
