My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little girl's name is Bunny and she earned it because in all of her excitement and enthusiasm for life, this young Border Terrier girl hops around like a bunny rabbit.  To watch her is pure entertainment as everyone laughs and gets a kick out of her physical antics.   Bunny was found as a stray in a rural country barn and no one knows how she got there.  Taken to a small town shelter that is very tiny and overcrowded, someone did step up to foster her, but it's an outdoor kennel and the frigid cold is soon to come.   She has a dog house, but she refuses to go in it and she lays outside the doghouse on the ground.  Maybe she's just not used to nice things in life, but it breaks our heart.  We truly are determined to find her an inside foster or forever home. This little girl is only 10-12  months old and weighs 31 pounds and a full grown adult potential of 35 lbs as a seasoned adult. She is curious and has a very fun and dynamic personality that is big as all outdoors.  She would do well with someone that walks her regularly every day, several times a day, or takes her to doggy day care as they go to work. Or perhaps someone has a beautiful fenced backyard that she can go and hang out in,  playing to her heart's content with no real supervision, but safe!   This girl can be active and also a snuggle bunny!   We can't say that she is housebroken totally but being a year of age gives her the edge to catch on quickly and get the routine down.  She is great with other dogs and would be wonderful with young children.  Bunny is ready to take the world by storm with you by her side.   Are you ready for this compact beauty to be your little 'Elf on the shelf?'   Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  Our response will be quick and swift and full of answers for any of your questions!

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
