My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


My name is Journey. I have been a loyal dog to my owner since being rescued eight years ago in Raleigh, NC. At first, I was a great companion to my single owner. Then, when my owner became married, I enjoyed the new relationship. A few weeks ago, a new baby was born and now things are too busy here, so I am currently staying with my grandparents.

I enjoyed being a great companion. I can be rather independent too. You might find me sitting next to you on the sofa, or more oftentimes not, you may find me resting in a quiet place of the house for a long nap. I do like to go outside a couple of times a day. I like to play once in a while by pulling on a rope toy. I do enjoy going on walks.

I don’t like loud noises, such as thunderstorms, or strange sounds. I am not comfortable around other dogs or cats.

I answer to most commands and I come when called. I go by Journey, Jay or J. dog.

I hope you will consider me as your future companion.
