Meet Fitz, a playful and spirited kitten with a love for toys and a lot to say at mealtime! This little guy is always up for fun, whether it’s chasing a toy or exploring his surroundings. Fitz’s chatterbox nature adds extra charm, especially when he’s letting you know it’s time to eat.

He’s recovering beautifully from a previous ringworm infection, and his fur is growing back quickly, revealing just how handsome he is. Fitz is ready to find a loving home where his playful antics and sweet personality can shine. Could he be the perfect addition to your family?

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
