Biscotti is an adorable, bouncy, 10 lb, 3-month-old poodle/maltese/wire fox terrier/mystery mix!
Background: Biscotti was found as a stray—can you believe someone would abandon this precious baby boy?
Personality: Biscotti is a stage 5 clinger. He always wants to be with his people—at their feet, in their lap, on their head—you name it! He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He will take breaks to play with toys but happily returns to the lap where he came from.
Health: Biscotti has received his bordetella and first set of distemper/parvo vaccines. Our rescue will pay for his remaining puppy shots and neuter surgery.
Training: As a young puppy, Biscotti is still learning the ropes. He is working on potty training in his foster home but will need continued training. He is quiet in his crate and sleeps through the night. Biscotti often runs away when you approach him like it's a game of tag. Biscotti’s adopters will need to prioritize working on his recall to keep him safe and make him a good boy.
Ideal Home: Biscotti would thrive in just about any kind of home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He would do well with a family that has the time to continue his training and socialization. Biscotti gets along well with other dogs and gets excited when he sees children. He loves to run so a securely fenced in yard is a must.
Adoption Requirements: We are accepting applications for foster-to-adopt! Terms of a foster-to-adopt agreement include taking Biscotti for his remaining shots and neuter surgery at PAWS - The Modern Spay Neuter Clinic (Cave Creek & 101).
Week of 11/11: distemper/parvo booster
Week of 12/2: distemper/parvo booster, rabies, microchip, neuter surgery
His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application
*Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.
