Meet Olive - Olive is an affectionate and intelligent dog who thrives on love, attention, and companionship. At about 1yr old, this sweet hound mix has a lot of love to give and would make a wonderful addition to the right home. She enjoys spending time with her humans, whether it's cuddling, going for walks, watching birds and squirrels or playing with her favorite toys. Her playful sweet nature and loyalty will quickly win you over! Olive is food motivated and very quick with training. Olive does have resource guarding tendencies, which means she can be protective of her food, toys, or other valued items. This is a behavior that is manageable with the right training and understanding. Olive needs an adopter who can work with her to create a safe and positive environment where she feels secure and confident. Olive has only shown her guarding/aggression towards other dogs, not humans. We know she will thrive in a home where she is the only pet.
