Meet Apollo! This sweet and loving boy was adopted as a kitten but recently returned through no fault of his own. Apollo is a gentle soul who loves to give nose kisses and will happily bonk your hand for pets. He's quite the talker and will let you know when he wants attention. His favorite treat? Crunchy snacks—he just can’t get enough! Apollo is now looking for his second chance at a forever home, where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished once more. Will you be the one to give him the loving home he deserves?

Apollo had a senior checkup with blood work completed by our vet and he has a clean house and is ready for his forever home

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
