Hazel is an 11-year-old cat we adopted from the Cleveland APL. She is a petite, independent feline with a friendly and affectionate nature. While she enjoys attention and will happily accept pets, she prefers to be in control and doesn’t enjoy being picked up—unless it’s on her terms. Despite being a senior, Hazel is still full of curiosity and playfulness. She is not declawed and is very patient with children. Hazel also lived with dogs in her previous home, so she’s accustomed to being around other pets. She’s looking for a calm and loving home where she can enjoy her independence while sharing her gentle companionship.
