Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If fetch was an Olympic sport, Rosie would be a Gold Medalist. This gorgeous, playful German Shepherd will happily chase anything you throw.
Yes, Rosie is the perfect mix of fun and affectionate. Children? Rosie adores them. She senses they need gentle treatment and that's what she gives them. It's this sweet, soulful quality that often makes people fall in love with Rosie.
Plus, Rosie is a fantastic companion. She enjoys long walks and has wonderful leash manners. Rosie will even hike or jog with you, if that's what you want. Basically, she is smart, eager to please and easy to train.
In fact, Rosie already knows sit and is 100% house trained. She can be crated, as long as the crate is large and she is sharing it with another dog. But caging Rosie is usually unnecessary. She doesn't chew property when free roaming the house, stays off the furniture, rarely barks and does not jump on people.
And speaking of people, Rosie loves them. Whether you're in the kitchen cooking dinner, or on the couch watching TV, Rosie likes to be in the room with you. She won't pester you for pets, but she adores it when you stroke her soft, thick fur. Her back, belly, sides and head are all Please Pet Here spots for Rosie.
What's as good as petting? Car rides. Rosie is thrilled to hop in anytime and motor to wherever you're going. Another favorite Rosie pastime? Living and playing with other dogs. Any game, with any dog, of any size, at any time, is tops on Rosie's list.
The one thing that she can't handle is solitude. Rosie needs to be around a person or people. She would be happiest with a family, or at least an individual, who is home a lot. Having another dog in the house to keep Rosie company when all humans are gone would be ideal.
It's true that living with Rosie presents some challenges. But whoever is lucky enough to adopt her won't just get a pet, they will be adding a beautiful, smart and loving member to their family.
