My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jerry is a 9 year old Brown and white tabby Male. Neutered, and Declawed on the front, which we are of course against getting done, but that is how he came to us. Jerry came to Cats Cradle Rescue because one of our Fosters helps out with a colony and their feeder found that one of their cats was laid out on the street. When Jessica (Foster) got there she thought Jerry had already passed away. Thankfully, he was alive, but he desperately needed care, so she took him straight to the ER and they were able to do everything needed to stabilize him and save him.

Turns out, he was the sweetest boy, who had the worst mouth! The ER had to keep him for a few days and then Jessica was able to take him to continue to tube feed him and give him his round the clock medicine until we were able to get him in to have a full dental done. Jerry has only a couple teeth left, but has no problems eating now. In fact, he's gained all the weight he needed back and has been deemed totally healthy and adoptable now!

He is the sweetest man and only wants to be touching you and getting pets 24 hours a day. He is looking for a home with people who can love on him like he deserves because he almost didn't make it, and he knows it! He needs a fully indoor only home, but he really enjoys windows and watching birds. He's not really into toys, but LOVES being brushed and touched. Please put in an application for adoption if you think he's your man!  Indoor only due to declawed front paws.  Rehoming fee is $50.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
